For over 400 years of years William Shakespeare’s plays have been rehearsed studied and adapted into many different cultures. But why are people now feeling the urge to no longer have him our classrooms and society? Well as the mentioned in the article “Why shakespeare is still relevant” published by (Joseph Pearce), people believe that William Shakespeare should no longer be taught in the classroom because being in the 21st century we have nothing to learn from him. On the contrary to this belief most people feel that shakespeare is still very important to our society and should very well be still taught in our classrooms.
People who don't believe that Shakespeare is relevant in today's culture and society are blind and wrong to think so. It doesn't take english scholars to understand that William Shakespeare teaches us very important lessons and morals in life. William Shakespeare tends to depict the average person in his play which is something everyone can all relate to. He illustrates us and our neighbors in many different ways and because of that it's a lack of good sense to not believe he is relevant in today's society.

Shakespeare shows us that whatever freedom we chose we are responsible for it and its actions on the world.
