Author Laura Sessions Stepp in her article, “Why Not Let Kids Have Facebook Pages,” provides numerous examples of how kids under the age of 13 shouldn’t have a Facebook. Kids everywhere are saying “But Mom…!” with the tone of disappointment because they feel you are irreversibly forcing them into a permanent state of uncoolness amongst their social media peers. Stepp says that kids under the age of thirteen on Facebook are using faking names and ages, cyberbullying, and privacy. First, I agree with Stepp because kids on Facebook today are using fake names and ages, just to impress their friends and other people. Children under 13 years old want other people to like them and be their friends by telling people that they are 18 or 19 years old,
