A major reason why Nuclear Power Plants are non-operational in Australia is because of the disadvantages which come with it. As Lucas Heights closed, Australia has been witnessed to safer energy, environment although, our major electricity source is also a non-renewable source which means coal will eventually as well. Though Australia does not need a nuclear power plant at this time, it is something that Australian citizens and government may have to take a liking to. This Nuclear Power Plant contains 5 cooling towers which are used to release heat on the water used to create the nuclear energy during its process. Both auxiliary (which is used to house all the safety equipment for the reactor) and annex building have their own wide space to use to expand. Though this is not a necessity to a nuclear power plant I have created a staff room & nuclear production offices to house the operators and geniuses behind the expansion behind the nuclear power. All these aspects are key essentials to creating and developing a nuclear power plant as it contains the operational and safety buildings needed. Every building which has a danger hazard has an extra building to benefit the environment on the outside if an incident was to occur.
