Many people in the world consider that teachers should be paid according to how much their students learn, and there are different reasons why people are likely to think in this direction. One of these reasons probably is related with the myth that people tends to work harder if they are better compensated. Other people would believe that there is no relationship between teacher's salary to students' capacity to learn. Although it might sound a bit capitalist and opportunist rather than enthusiastic, I believe it might be beneficial teacher's salary be related directly with their students success. People would argue that the art of teaching are not associated with how much students learn. People who are well paid tends to be more productive in general terms. Furthermore, the higher payments will encourage teachers to be more passionate in their teaching methods. Besides, such method of payment measurement might raise competition among teachers, which it will also encourage them to make more efforts as increase their knowledge, and create new mechanisms to develop student's understanding. For example, when I was in high school, I remember that the head of my school set up many different compensations type for teachers who increase the student's academic performance in their classes. Under the support of the benefits, our teachers work harder than other high schools teachers which have no or fewer benefits in my city. The interesting thing was that teachers who were not paid according to the performance of their students were likely to spend fewer efforts to educate their students.
