The U.S.A has always been an independent country...it should stay that way. Countries around the world have been putting a big fat NO over the misunderstood breed, pitbulls. Unlike other countries the U.S needs to take a stand like it always has. This is very unfair for pit bulls and some pitbull owners, especially to the pit bulls who haven’t harmed a fly. I believe this should change, you should too. Instead of punishing the innocent like other countries we should use our resources to be more careful on who gets to own these creatures. We should also focus our resources on the owners of the vicious pitbulls, dog fights and abuse could play a role in this K-9 crisis.
Furthermore, I shall give a more in depth look into the problem I am presenting

Many countries in the world have been banning pit bulls and that ban streak has started coming to canada and the U.S. Recently in Montreal there was attack, it was a woman who was mauled to death by a pitbull. This started a riot on whether pit bulls should be banned or not. Eventually they didn’t end up banning pit bulls but it was pretty close. Now it is starting back up again when there has been attacks in california and people want to ban pit bulls in the U.S just like other countries. Here are some pieces of research I have found that will show you that this is a valid concern. A lot of people want to ban pit bulls because they kill more and believe that they a have certain features that make them killing machines. A common false attribute that is believed about the pitbull is that it has a locking mechanism in its jaw that allows it to lock when biting. Recent studies have …show more content…
Everything in this world will have flaws no matter how big or little, I can’t think of something that doesn't have at least one flaw to it. I can think of things that have great positive outcomes and little flaws though, for example my solution. My solution as I have stated before is that instead of just flat out banning pit bulls, we should punish the owners and be more careful on who they go to because it is the owners fault not the dog. Now right away I bet you could pick out one flaw that kinda stands out and that is if we start punishing pitbull owners then there might be some people that are just guilty of poor dog training getting in trouble. Now this might be a valid concern but let me explain to you why despite this implication my solution still comes out on top. This might seem like it will be a big problem but I assure you it is not. If some one had a pitbull that attacked and has a clean slate then they should just give that pitbull to a better trainer. You see in my solution the criminals (owners) go to jail and the victims of abuse (pitbulls) are given to respectul trainers, happy ending right? Now if we go with the other solution then I believe things will be in a much more unfair conclusion, let me explain. First off if we go with the other solution then
