Will a College Education be worth its weight in gold?
In a revolving world, will a College education be worth the time or cost. Per the College board it will be, because you get to meet new people, get a good education, learn about yourself and get a good job after graduation. It has also been reported that the average cost of tuition and fees for the 2016-2017 school year was $33,480 at private colleges, $9,650 for state residents at public college and $24,930 for out-of-state residents attending public universities. People who go college open their choices for jobs. Many jobs these days require a college degree. Plus, college graduates have less chance of losing their jobs. It is a fact that people who graduate from college make more money than those with just a high school diploma.

You can also start a tradition in your family if you are the first to go to college. If your child goes to college your grandchildren will be more likely to go, too. This an example of somethings can’t be measured financially such as a college education. For decades, there’s been an unwritten rule that if you want a good job, you need a diploma from a four-year college. If it seems like the price of a college education is spiraling out of control, it’s not an illusion. Over the past three decades, college costs have risen roughly 7% a year. Some critics also contend that students have a harder time finding employment post-graduation. This is due to the uncertain job market. So obviously earning a pay check is a motivator for getting a job, it could be to contribute to family living
