Enemy Mine, a movie from 1985. The film is shown as a sci-fi and action movie. Besides what everyone can see there is more. There is more to every movie. This film has a message within it This is more known/ is called an allegory. The allegory of the movie Enemy Mine is, to not judge people based on the stories we are told.

Enemy Mine stars two main characters, Will Davidge and Jerry The Drac. Will Davidge is a human pilot. As for Jerry he is an alien or as they say he is a Drac. They are both there to survive. They are there to make it out, although they have been told that they are completely different from each other. As they figure ways to survive in this stranded alien world which is suffering from the war, they start to learn more …show more content…

They spend a lot of time together. They didn’t realize it at first, but they soon learn that they are close to friends. Davidge and Jerry grow to depend on each other. They stray away from what they knew from each other, realizing that there are two sides to every story. As the film continues and they save each other and build a safe place, Davidge learns about the history of Dracs and how important their language is to them. Also, he learns about the Dracs' great teacher. Well Jerry learns about the human teacher, Mickey Mouse. As Will learns Jerry’s language, Jerry learns the English language. They both know the stories people have told about the Dracs and humans, but as they struggle to survive, it all becomes more clear that what they have been told is not all the truth. That they should not have had such strong judgments about each other's race. Especially when they don’t know each other or better. As the movie continues and Davidge goes along on his own without Jerry, he struggles more. Davidge makes it a lot of time without Jerry but soon returns because, in my opinion, he knew it wasn’t the same, and that he needs Jerry there. Although they have
