General Statement One can not give their bling loyalty to anyone. Thesis statement Shakespeare’s play, “Hamlet”, serves as a cautionary tale against extreme loyalty, seen within the characters as their devotion to other progress, and they lose their integrity.
Intro: A famous quote from Ghandi says, “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” This is a quote that applies to the characters in Hamlet who are driven by revenge. To put in simple terms, an eye for an eye means whatever you do someone will be done to you. The characters acted through their anger and emotions, rather than with thorough thought, because they were insistent on getting revenge on those who did them wrong.
These previous couple months have been crazy for the Danish court. Following the tragic death of King Hamlet, the new king was almost immediately inducted and then married to the widow of the former king. Though when at the funeral there were many people in a depressed mood as they mourned the previous leader. Though the most distraught person attending was King Hamlets only son, the Prince Hamlet. During the viewing he was there to comfort his mother but showed little emotion as he was terribly surprised at the death of his father.

King Hamlet, the past King of Denmark and beloved husband of Queen Gertrude and father of Prince Hamlet died this past week after being poisoned by his brother, Claudius. The King was the victim of jealousy between brothers. King Hamlet was sleeping in the garden, when Claudius approached him in his sleep, pouring poison in his ear. Claudius was jealous of his brother, having the throne and the beautiful Queen Gertrude. Claudius proceeded to take the crown, and the Queen, but King Hamlet got revenge in the end.
Disney’s The Lion King is a 1994 kid friendly, along with an adult friendly, movie. Like most movies, it is very entertaining, yet very meaningful. Hamlet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare in 1599 that is full of revenge. The stories are the same, both about two young princes whose fathers are killed by their uncles, and they return to avenge the deaths of their fathers and take back the throne that rightfully belongs to them.
Prince Hamlet was a hero. Despite all the drama he went through but it was worth it at the end because it showed everybody THE REAL King Claudius. Hamlet WAS rude to the king, mean to his mom and lover, and killed Polonius. People do some dumb, crazy things and they all for a good reason, well except some people because they are crazy period but in the movie Hamlet had a reason to seek revenge, to be mad at everybody, to have a grudge. Hamlet had just lost his father and then his mother married the late King Hamlet's brother in less than 2 months.
William Shakespeare is still a significant poet and playwright, even hundreds of years after his death. Shakespeare was a Renaissance writer that wrote unique plays, poems, and was also an actor himself. He was born and raised in the United Kingdom, and applied his skills to becoming a well known playwrite, arguibly the best in his era. The development of the Renaissance changed the way that society viewed things during the 1500's and 1600's. The movement of the Renaissance expanded gradually as poetry, music, and theater became overwhelmingly popular.
Despite appearing on only three separate occasions and only speaking during two of those occasions, the ghost of King Hamlet is still a major character who has a very large effect on Hamlet as a whole. King Hamlet’s presence in the play has a strong effect on developing the theme of revenge, as he encourages his son to deliver retribution to his killer, unfolding the depressing and morbid plot and action of the play, as his encouragement leads to the deaths of many characters, and developing the character of Hamlet, who nearly goes mad in his bipolar state as he struggles to ascertain the validity of what his father’s ghost tells him and revenge his death. Without King Hamlet’s presence in the play, the major theme of revenge would not be present. When it comes to whether or not King Hamlet’s ghost helped Hamlet or not, it’s up to the audience’s interpretation. At first glance, the events that occurred to Hamlet post-enlightenment went ary in the fact that the rest of his family died by the end of the story; but it was not the King’s intention.

What Hamlet is most known for, has to do with the fact of Prince Hamlet being a tragic hero, which means a character who is willing to die to win/get what he wants or who demonstrates courage in the face of danger. In this case the tragic hero, Hamlet, is seeking revenge on his uncle who is now King because he killed Hamlet’s father. Throughout the whole play Hamlet wants nothing more than revenge.
