Hamlet is a very wise person and is very well-spoken. I believe that Hamlet first started acting mad, but throughout the play, and after each event and everything that happened to him, I believe he did turn mad. By the end of the play when he is fighting with Laretes, I think that he has gone fully mad.

In Act 4, scene 7 Claudius attempts to convince Laertes that taking revenge on Hamlet for killing his father is the right thing to do. Claudius tries to connect with Laertes by playing on his emotions. Specifically, he targets his grief and love for his father and his new-found hatred for Hamlet. Claudius’ speech in Act 4, Scene 7 effectively targets Laertes through an emotional appeal.

In the play, Oedipus the King by Sophocles, the character Oedipus is seen as the tragic hero with many tragic flaws that lead to misfortune for him and the people around him. In the play, Hamlet by William Shakespeare, the character Hamlet is seen as the tragic hero whose many tragic flaws brings about the misfortune of multiple characters, including himself. King Hamlet, the past King of Denmark and beloved husband of Queen Gertrude and father of Prince Hamlet died this past week after being poisoned by his brother, Claudius. The King was the victim of jealousy between brothers. King Hamlet was sleeping in the garden, when Claudius approached him in his sleep, pouring poison in his ear. Claudius was jealous of his brother, having the throne and the beautiful Queen Gertrude. Claudius proceeded to take the crown, and the Queen, but King Hamlet got revenge in the end.
Disney’s The Lion King is a 1994 kid friendly, along with an adult friendly, movie. Like most movies, it is very entertaining, yet very meaningful. Hamlet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare in 1599 that is full of revenge. The stories are the same, both about two young princes whose fathers are killed by their uncles, and they return to avenge the deaths of their fathers and take back the throne that rightfully belongs to them.
In Shakespeare’s tragedy, Hamlet, the question many wonder is, does Hamlet posses a tragic flaw? In literature, Hamlet represents the perfect standard of a tragic hero. His character’s situation begins with great motivations to seek revenge on his father’s murderer, but as the storyline slowly progresses with several twists and turns, his choices and actions become so grim that the only reasonable outcome should be his personal death. Hamlet does not live to witness the effects of his actions, which is what makes him especially similar to a traditional tragic hero. In other words, the outline of his behavior and his downfall is because he possesses a tragic flaw.
The character of Hamlet is expressed as a protagonist. His irritated attitude towards Claudius in scene 2 of act 1 leaves the audience with a clear first impression of his nature. He is deceitful of the king, his uncle Claudius who is now the ruler of Denmark after his brothers “death”, and disgusted of his mother marrying his uncle. Hamlet is an example of someone who has compromised his happiness, in order to avenge his father’s murder.

How does a genius man, a man full of reason, comical wit, and a profound admiration for life become the man who feels no form of resentment as he plots his uncle’s murder? Philosophy encourages thinkers to analyze abstract concepts of life, such as death, nature, love and relationships, and the human mind.
