Women and doctors -who perform abortion, are abused because of their choices on abortion. Abortion has become legal in most countries but it is still despite by many. Women are abused through comments like; ignoring the duty of motherhood, immoral and selfish. Society needs to open their minds on how hard it is to live as a women in this world; women are abused because of their choices and they have to be independent in a world where they didn't even have basic human rights. Doctors are hated and labelled as murderers. When in fact these doctors have helped and saved many women.

Abortion is the stopping of a particular pregnancy. It can occur purposely or unintendedly; otherwise called miscarriage. Doctors back then had to keep a low profile, so they were not caught and will be able to perform the same surgery for several other women. Women were so desperate to get rid of their pregnancy that they will risk their life. A lot of women had to perform it themselves, such as intaking toxic products. They are procedures that could affect their health or can even kill them. Doctors who perform this surgery are threatened by extremist, one doctor who was well known was, George Tiller. He performed late term abortions which is very uncommon; they are only performed by three clinics in the states. Tiller was shot by an anti-abortion extremist. This was the period when abortion has already been legalized, yet there were still many people who disagree with the actions.
