Many people are supported in their homes by people who work along side the health and social care service such as social workers,nursers ,doctor and care givers or they may get support from their family members and friends. An elderly person may choose to stay in their own homes instead of a residential care home while seeking help and support from others,however this can lead to potential opportunities for abuse happening to the person who Is being looked after. When an individual is getting support at home by a carer, the individual being cared for is vulnerable and defenseless and therefor this makes them a target for abuse,another example is abuse by strangers,when an elderly person lives alone they are at risk of people calling at the door and then gaining access to their homes,they may steal items from them or mistreat them or cause intimidation. A person who is vulnerable and living alone are at risk of physical and sexual because there is no one there to stop this abuse from happening.

Multiple relationships are a difficult code to adhere to. In many communities, it may not be feasible for the physiologist to avoid social contacts with people such as clients, patients, students, supervisees, or researchable participants. The multiple relationships became difficult to avoid because it does not have the sense for the rest of the community who look at me. It is not feasible for me to avoid social contact.
Daniel & Rosenstein (2008) define collaboration in health care as “health care professionals assuming complementary roles and cooperatively working together, sharing responsibility for problem-solving and making decisions to formulate and carry out plans for patient care.” Finkleman (2006, cited in Ndoro, 2014) states there are many advantages of working in multidisciplinary teams, such as professionals having a greater understanding of one another’s job roles. This permits greater communication between each other. Working within a multidisciplinary team enables collaborative working and improves patient care. Although collaborative person-centred care is vital, it needs improvement.

If the communication is poor between you and a service user and with your work colleague the care the service user receives will not be right for them if you’re not talking to them or communicating with them how are you going to know what they like or don’t like.
