The First World War had eliminated the reigning monarch. The war led monarchy in Germany, Russia, and Turkey ended. World War I had ended the monarchy in Russia under the Tsarist empire that once ruled Russia for 400 years. The First World War was to test the ability of the government to deal with the current situation. Faced defeat after defeat by Russia's war with Germany in particular highlight the weaknesses of the Tsarist empire. Russian military defeat on the battlefield led to some military unequivocal loyalty. So they have completed a monarchy system. In addition, in 1925, the sultan of the Ottoman Turkish empire down from the throne following the defeat of the Turkish army in the First World War. This led to the emergence of republican government in Russia, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Poland, Lithhuania, Latvia and Estonia. In Germany, the government of the republic was established when the former emperor was exiled German empire. The Russian Revolution was to overthrow the monarchy and the communist government, which first emerged under the leadership of Vladimir Lenin.
