All worldviews are not created equal. There are many different worldviews. Christians believe in a transcendent God while others in the world believe differently. One worldview is naturalism. They believe that everything and everyone is of the earth. Some call it “the big bang”. Another worldview is Utopianism. They believe that if all work toward the good of the earth there will be peace. Utopians focus on the good in people believing that everyone can better the world. They believe that if everyone works together, it is possible to create Eden on earth. As Christians, we should understand these worldviews so that we are better prepared to answer the tough questions on why God’s word is right. When writing is important to research and source correctly. Before starting research it is important to have a working thesis. As the student continues their research the thesis statement can change. Research helps the student locate information to back up the writing. It allows for different views so the writing is clear. An example of this is when asking two individuals “what do you put on your strawberries?” one may say sugar while the other may say manure. Research allows the context to flow. Once the student has chosen their search engine they can work efficiently by clicking on advanced search. This search field allows the student to narrow down results based on keywords that they have used in their working thesis. Also by clicking the peer reviewed sources assures the student that the material they will be reading is a viable source. Lastly, is language, it is important to choose the preferred language based on the professor's requirements for the annotated bibliography.
