Before this composition course began I was excited to begin the next level of my education. As soon as I read the syllabus, my attitude changed and I was not near as excited as I was before. I expected to have several writing assignments, but I did not realize the extent or technicality involved in writing, nor was I aware of the different writing styles or formats.
My attitude regarding writing is still not as good as it could be, however, I understand the writing process and I have been able to acquire a writing process that works well for me. I learned a lot from the Writing Spaces chapters that were given throughout this course because they were easy to read and understand. Writing Spaces also provided examples in some chapters which

I feel much more confident than before about writing assignments, and I feel much more confident and proud of the work I am able complete due to the knowledge I now have on writing styles and expectations.
The first thing that I will notice when comparing previous drafts to more recent drafts would be the professionalism of the context. I feel much more confident and take much more pride in the things that I write currently compared to earlier writings. This course has been great for me.
I have discovered that I am a better writer than I previously gave myself credit for. I have had many composing weaknesses, however throughout this class, I have gained strengths in my writing process and format. I feel as though I still have weaknesses, but I have learned ways to overcome writing difficulties as they arise.
I without a doubt believe that I have gained beneficial composing skills that will impact many areas of my future. I am much more prepared and confident when it comes to composition in a professional and educational standpoint. The knowledge I have learned will benefit me greatly in the near
