Ever since I can remember, getting the yearbook was one of the best days at school. I always loved seeing everything we did that year all together. It wasn’t till 7th grade when I got my first real, hardback yearbook that was more than just a combination of class pictures. I loved to see what everyone was doing that I was so unaware of. I learned new things about people and spent hours going through finding pictures of me and my friends. I want to be on staff for Le Flambeau because I want to work with other classmates to create the thing that made me so happy to receive. I’d also like to be on yearbook to get to know other students better and I think yearbook would give me that opportunity to bond with other staff members. In the past 1 1/2 years that I’ve been at Sion, I’ve seen staff take pictures, and I’ve always wanted to do that, because I love taking pictures and using photos to write a story to share with other students.I’ve heard staff members say how fun staff is and I’d love to be apart of it and get to know other students and the school! I have already taken Intro to Journalism class where I learned to properly write for journalism. There were so many “rules” to follow, but I am confident that I have learned it. By Junior year I will also have completed the layout and design class. It has only been 3 weeks the Layout class, but I have already learned so many new things and have made some creative work. I am a very hard worker and always complete my homework on time. I get very stressed if something isn’t fully completed and I think that if selected for Le Flambeau, that I would bring that same determination to finish projects by the deadline. I am not one to compliment myself, so this is hard for me to say, but I think that I would very useful on yearbook. I’d happy to work on probably
