After the United States, women 's national soccer team won the Women 's World Cup, many wondered how such a victory was possible. Some gave credit to their powerhouse offense, but many forgot that they had a stellar defense that seldom allowed opposing teams to score. Hope Solo, the goalie of the team, was the main reason why this defense looked amazing. She was named the best goalkeeper in the tournament. She stopped every shot in her way; she was almost god-like.

The World’s Columbian Exposition was among the highest attended events during in 1893. The World’s Fair as it was known to the world, broadcasted various inventions that were deemed revolutionary. America was in the midst of the Gilded Age and Chicago was believed to be an acceptable location for this fair. Chicago was celebrating the four hundred year anniversary of Columbus’ arrival to the Americas and it seemed fitting for an outstanding presentation for middle class Americans and attendees throughout the world. Our research will focus on the importance of the Columbian World’s fair and why it was invested primarily in the northwestern part of the country, Chicago at the end of the Gilded Age, and the middle class of the population

Although those are wonderful things, in a time when many are searching for the greater meaning of life, the spiritual aspect of Jesuit life can help find this greater meaning. This is the concept introduced nearly 500 years ago by St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits. Saint Ignatius was a Spanish soldier who discovered his calling and turned to God after suffering nearly fatal wounds in battle.

I am writing my research paper on whether the idea of transitional programs are decreasing Recidivism rates in Pennsylvania. I found a specific one called “Halfway Houses.” The term “halfway house” refers to a small, closely supervised residential program where people making the transition from prison to the outside world get drug treatment, job placement and other services (New York Times). There are certain rules that they must follow, however, this will make the participants more accountable and responsible for their own actions. This certain type of transitional program assist the participants in focusing on their self and maintaining the transition from prison life to life back in every day society.

So, our school has been closed for a couple of days and we have to make up 8 hours of school. We have to make up 8 hours of that. We can either chose from making it up on a Saturday or we can make school an hour longer for 8 days. It is up to the class to vote on it. If we would have to stay another hour after school ended, it would be a mess.
