In this week's class, we have deepened our study of ethics regarding the work environment and marketing. In this written assignment, I will read the case studies in the textbook and discuss each question. What aspects support a job-sharing plan? How does it benefit the company? For employees of the company? A job-sharing plan is a work arrangement in which one full-time position is shared by two or more employees. Each employee works part of the week or on certain days, with another employee in charge of the remaining hours. This method allows employees to have flexibility in their work by dividing their working hours and responsibilities

For example, the employee may be assigned to a specific day or time of the week, or the duties may be split up. Such plans may be flexibly adjusted to accommodate changes in the labor market and the needs of employees. What are the potential negative consequences for the company and the employee? Do you have concerns about potential employment discrimination if this plan is implemented? What, if any, does it look like? Job-sharing may make work coordination and information sharing more difficult. Lack of communication and cooperation between partners can affect the efficiency and quality of work. Job-sharing may also increase labor costs because two employees would be needed to perform the same job.
