Literary Analysis Paper - Realistic Fiction In Ask Me No Questions, Marina Budhos illustrates the theme, If you work hard everything will work out. This theme is shown through the events in the plot, the settings, and the characters. The book is told by Nadra and is about her family living in America without a visa. While they are trying to move to Canada, some of the family members get put in detention, causing the rest of the family to find the money to get them out. One character that showed the theme was Abba, even though he was in a detainment center, he still tried to find ways to prove he didn't do anything.
