Good morning Trinityhouse, my name is Luke Davis and today i am going to be talking to you about human trafficking.

Stolen people,stolen dreams. Now the oxford dictionary defines human trafficking as “ The action or practice of illegal transporting people from one country or area to another,typically for the purpose os of forced labour or commercial sexual exploition.”Victims of ths often feel like they have no other choice but to fall into this trap due to economic issues and circumstances and feel this is the only way they will survive.

Human trafficking is often caused due to the fact that people feel they have no other choice but to, as they cannot afford to live and support their loved ones and are tricked into doing this as they are often promised money to support themselves and their families, but this is not the case. Political conditions often cause human trafficking as people become vulnerable and an easy target for traffickers to get them to fall for this trap. …show more content…

The families and friends of victims get spiritually broken, they don't get to see their loved one and don't actually realise or understand the trauma they go through, they continue to suffer as the money and support they were hoping for often doesn't come. The actual traffickers will get given a criminal offence when caught doing this violation and severe consequences will be put in place, their families will also end up being affected because of their actions. Then there is of course the victims themselves who get it the worst. They lose all hope, dreams and belonging. They feel hopeless and scared, get physically and mentally abuse.
