My research question is ¨ Do abortions have a physical and mental effects on females of all ages?¨ The health topics from this course I chose were reproduction, pregnancy and development and also risk of adolescent sexual activity. The target audience of my research are women that have ever experienced abortions rather if it was their own or some in their family. The research question I am proposing is unique and differ from other published works because it talks about the effects on the female population in general, not just one group of females. I would like to explore women's minds about how abortions deeply affects them, negatively and positively. This article also have charts and facts and real life examples of what some women have gone through. The second credible source I used was “Abortion in young women and subsequent mental health.” This source will help me it examines the linkage between women of ages 15-25 and try to figure out are the mental effects the same of this rage of ages. This article even mentions more things that society would not think about such has abortions can lead to other things such as depression and anxiety. The last credible source I found was “The Adolescent’s Right to Confidential Care When Considering Abortion” This article talks about adolescents consulting with their parents or other trusted adults when deciding to have an abortions. In some states having potential consent are not useful and this can cause increases the risk of harm to the adolescent by delaying access to appropriate medical care. This article wants to ensure that adolescents have access to health care, including reproductive health care, This article states “Timely access to medical care is especially important for pregnant teenagers because of the significant medical, personal, and social consequences of adolescent childbearing.” Potential solutions are having Sex-Ed classes in
