Early Life Abraham Lincoln was born in Hodgenville, KY. His mother died when he was 9 years due to milk sickness. He was taken away from his father because he abused him. Abraham lincoln was a good child, he would listen to his mother and would not talk back at all. He never went to school so he was determined to teach himself. When he was 19 he was a successful lawyer and he had many famous cases. He ran for five elections and unfortunately didn't win none until he ran for president.

Years as President & First Inauguration

Abraham lincoln became the 16th president of United States on a fateful day of November 6,1860. He wanted to end slavery in the west so he demanded the emancipation proclamation which ended slavery in the south. Abraham lincoln had a lot of people who hated him because of what he did. He was so depressed that he feared that if he carried a knife on him he would kill himself. People called him ugly and two face and his response was “ if i had two faces, do you think i would be using this one?”. His wife was Mary Todd Lincoln. His sons were Robert Todd Lincoln, Tad Lincoln, William Lincoln, and Edward Baker Lincoln. Unfortunately Edward died at a young age due to illness. Willie died due to illness as well. Tad made it to the age of 18 until he died of Pneumonia. Robert made it to adulthood and passed all of his brothers. Mary Todd was saddened about the loss of her three sons. Mary todd was an opium addict and was kinda mental. Robert took Mary to a mental asylum and stood
