First of all Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States of America. He lived 56 years till he was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth at Ford’s Theater. Abraham Lincoln had a very interesting childhood. He was born in a log cabin in Kentucky because of his father Thomas Lincoln and his mother Nancy Hanks Lincoln. He was able to become a lawyer because of a law in Illinois that says if you have a certificate that shows you have good moral character then you could become a lawyer. During Lincoln's legal career he had three partners who were John T. Stuart, Stephen T. Logan, and William Herndon. Lincoln's best trait as a lawyer was how he could easily make a hard case simpler. He also had a lot of brevity, clarity, and he could easily influence juries. Lincoln also accepted any case that was brought to him.
