Ad Analysis Most of the companies who use advertisement to introduce their product are usually try to target a certain portion of the societies. It all begins with the revolutionary advertisements of Marlboro, they took commercials and advertisements to a whole new level, they were the first ones to turn commercials into a storyline and then introduce their product. All of this began back in 1992 when the cowboy commercial came out, most of the newer companies used Marlboro tactic to make more sells. One of the big companies who use this advertising tactic is Axe. Axe has the best Advertisements mostly due to their sexist commercials, and their advertisements use ethos, logos, and pathos to make it more effective to their audience. On the commercial “Every Guys Dream” female models dressed as angels, fall from the sky and find the perfect smell of a male. Later on the commercial, the angels give up their crown to be with the man, this is a perfect example pathos since it makes the audience want to buy the product because it attracts women with the best looking. The Axe commercials also use logos on most of their shampoo products, they usually put facts on the cover or advertise it on posters.
