Going back to college has been a great experience for me, truly enjoyable, and eye opening.
It has been over 30 years since my degree was given to me in Business Management, a very well deserved degree That one small degree has put me in a very comfortable place to make a living. Although at the time when I was seeking it, it was a struggle to work and go to class.
As my English 102 class began in the late fall of 2015 it was quite apparent that one might be surrounded by younger age youth who have no sense of urgency to even finish their short weekly assignments, nor do they pay much attention to the instructor, a lot of texting going on during the lecturer, not being on time to the class schedule, they will learn eventually that this is unacceptable in the real working world.

I was very nervous about receiving a failing grade.
Personally Mr. Dix had believed in me, and included me in all the classroom activates. Yes, being back in college is really rigorous, but I did not give up. As another degree would look nice on a resume if it is needed.
The best part of this English class was all the participation everyone had given. One advantage about returning back to college later in my life was that it does have a great sense of purpose and more focused in my studies. As we all age we have more lifetime experience and knowledge of the new material being presented.
Of the record, thank you for being such a fun, caring individual of an instructor. One could see how everyone in the class had a lot of respect for you.
