“Education is the Key to Success”; in my life I was told this on countless occasions. The only time I understood the meaning of that saying was when I was deciding what to do after high school. In my high school most students decided not to go to college and join the military instead. An honorable option, but not what I wanted to for my future. The vision in my mind was instead to go to a university that could get me the job of my dreams. At the time I had two options to go to. One being Texas A&M University where my mother graduated from or go someplace new the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Both extraordinary universities that would help me succeed in my future endeavors. In the end, I choose the South Dakota School of Mines …show more content…
I got the opportunity to meet different professors each one filled with knowledge that they would be eager to share with me. Every time I walk through the halls I see students and teachers talking and helping each other out with numerous problems. Each students seizing the opportunity to learn more. Parents would always say if you be good it will snow. Of course that never happened instead we would get 100 degree heat all year round. Then when I came to “Mines” I finally saw snow there was enough snow to have thousands of snowball fights. It was a like form of art the kind of perfection you don’t can only see if you were there. I am over joyed with my decision to go to “Mines” if I hadn’t done so I wouldn’t be able to do all these magnificent
