I is how the Trojan’s persevered and never give in to defeat during their journey. How they believed that the leadership of Aeneas and the gods would lead them to a new Troy. After the devastating storm, Aeneas directs the remaining ship to head for the closest shore which is the Libyan coast. Once they arrive safely on shore, Aeneas starts to lift the sprites of his followers by providing food and wine to them.

Odysseus is not a hero because he was not humble or good at accepting the help that he received, and he also acted before synthesizing the consequences that he would face in the future.
If you take the time to look deeper into Aeneas’s actions with Dido and look at his overall, he shows to be a very mature person that is all about the cause. Even though Aeneas got a warning from Hector’s ghost, he stayed passionate and headstrong to go and fight the Greeks. Throughout, he never seems to lose sight of any of his goals. In reading about Aeneas’s, a modern day reader might focus mainly on his action with Dido and see him as inconsiderate and insensitive. If you take to time to looking more in to his character, you will see that he really cares.
In the beginning of The Aeneid Book IV, Dido is troubled because she feels herself falling in love with Aeneas. She is troubled because she promised herself she would never love or marry another man after the death of her first husband, Sychaeus. She confesses this to her sister, Anna, and tells her that she does not know what to do. Anna tells her sister that if she is to marry Aeneas that it will strength Carthage by having Aeneas and his Trojan soldiers that follow him.

As Virgil states Aeneas went looking everywhere for his armor: A great terror burst in upon his sleep, and the sweat broke out all over is body and soaked him to the bone. However, their character as men are not alike; Aeneas is very “duty-driven”, while Odysseus is driven mainly by his own self-interest. In The Iliad, by the Greek poet Homer, the Trojan Horse was a war strategy used by the Greeks. During the war, the Greeks needed one last ploy because the city of Troy was too heavily guarded. The king of Ithaca, Odysseus, came up with the plan to create a large wooden horse as a gift to the Trojans. Odysseus’ men used oak wood from their ships and hid 30 warriors inside the horse. One soldier stood outside Troy and he was planted by Odysseus to tell the Trojans that he was left behind.

Aeneas being a decedent from Troy and thus is he seen as an associate of the royal house of Troy. In the Iliad Aeneas is an important warrior in the Trojan war. However, Aeneas most significant role is through Virgil’s Aeneid, where Virgil made the arrival and settlement of Aeneas in Italy the main theme in his story. Aeneas was born near to tear, on mount Ida, he was given to his father Archallis at the age of five. During the Trojan war he lead the troops of Dardanian, but still under Hectors demands.
