Every morning I wake up with a feeling of dread knowing that I must hurriedly get ready for school and have no time to waste. I rush to school distractedly and see many students in the parking lot pile out of their cars gulping coffee and trying to organize themselves for the day as they rush into our school. Barely getting to class on time, many students are distraught and exhausted from their stressful morning. School days seem to be endless when a student is tired, and students’ energy after school can be very limited. Sports practices drain students even more, and homework only gets put off until much later in the day, causing students to stay up late and not get enough sleep. The cycle of exhaustion and sleep loss continues for the entire school week until students are finally given the relief of having the chance to sleep in on the weekend. …show more content…
