If I was the upcoming Commanding General for the U.S. Army Cadet Command, I would like to improve the JROTC programs, JROTC sports activities, and Cadet participation. The JROTC programs prepare cadets for leadership roles, responsibilities, and educate Cadets of their rights and privileges. The JROTC Cadet classes help them focus on study skills, history, citizenship, military drills, and physical fitness. Most of the JROTC activities involve precision and exhibition military drill competitions, air rifle competitions, Raider Challenge competitions, JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Camp, and the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC).

National Junior Honors Society Essay By: Megan Pacchioli I am very excited by the opportunity to represent my school as a member of the National Junior Honors Society. Both in and out of school I support the Five Pillars of the NJHS, which are scholarship, service, citizenship, character, and leadership. I represent these five pillars by my grades and academic achievements in school, my dedication to my church, my dojo, and my soccer team. As well as taking part in my communities activities, being a responsible person, and manifesting my leadership on the court/field out of school.
For generations, my family has built their lives around the agriculture industry. Carrying on the tradition, both of my parents are employed through this growing industry. My mother is a grain marketer and my father is a full-time grain farmer. Growing up in a farming family, I have learned many valuable lessons about success and leadership. My family has always pushed me to be better at whatever task I was trying to accomplish.
Hello! Welcome to the Jr. Honors Academy! We are so excited for an amazing year! My name is Crista Ponder, and I will be serving as the Jr. Honors Academy sponsor. I am the 8th-grade Science and Social Studies Teacher at Riverdale.
Throughout high school I have participated in many different activities and programs, but one of the opportunities I was given I will carry with me forever. As a junior at River Valley I participated in the Marion General Teen Volunteer Program. After interviewing and being placed in the physical therapy unit I took the opportunity to branch out into other areas of the hospital. I soon made my way to the labor and delivery floor where everyday a miracle happened. My duties while volunteering included assisting the nurses during hearing checks, changing diapers, and rocking crying infants in special care.
One of the primary goals of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets is to stimulate the interest of aviation. My journey through cadets has not only stimulated, but given me a newfound desire to accomplish one of the biggest dreams in my life. To become a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force. If I were accepted to this course, I would go enthusiastically, ready for any challenge to overcome.
I would like to become an active member of Carrboro High School’s National Honor Society in order to benefit my community through service. I am immensely committed to serving and improving my community, as I have made distinctly clear with my 143 service hours. Through these service hours, I have focused on the improvement of the future community by helping disenfranchised refugee children coming from horrible living conditions in Western Africa, by teaching children about biology, chemistry, and scientific history, by preparing freshmen for their high school careers, by raising money to protect and aid voiceless animals hurt in car crashes and other human infringements, and by creating rain gardens, planting food crops, and decreasing Carrboro High School’s environmental
To become a member of the highly esteemed National Honors Society would mean that I have achieved my goal of being an archetype student for North Penn High School. To be blunt, I had stressed over applying for NHS for quite a while, but it was not until mid-way through the application process in which I realized my life is based around the qualities that the National Honor Society holds in high value. I have been yearning to be a part of this remarkable organization since I graduated my freshman year as an officer in NJHS. Since then, my time has been filled with countless volunteering and involvement in extracurricular activities. I am very passionate about what I become invested into, and I work at achieving my goals to the fullest.
It has been been a goal of mine to attend the United States Naval Academy after visiting Annapolis with my grandparents in 2012. Since visiting the Naval Academy I knew that I wanted to serve America with the utmost honor and integrity. The Naval Academy Summer Seminar would give me the ability to hone my leadership skills and give me valuable experience that I could use as a Navy Midshipman and throughout life. This summer experience is an opportunity of a lifetime because it will allow me to understand and benefit from the mental and physical challenges the academy provides. Challenging myself at the Naval Academy Summer Seminar would be greatly beneficial for me because I will have the confidence and skills to make decisions

Putting the right person on the right deployment directly affects our mission of Fly, Fight and Win. You’ll have to get your CCAF completed before then, but since that is one of your aspirations, I suspect that you won’t have any problems completing it. Your latest fitness test was in the high 70’s and to become a recruiter you need to score an 80 or above on your last two tests or a 90 or above on the most recent. Make sure you score a 90 or higher to stay eligible.
Throughout my childhood and adolescent years, I always had a dream of joining the military. Though it was a choice, I still did not have any inside information of what it would be like, and the requirements and specifics of the Army. It wasn't until 2005 when I decided to join the United States Army that all my concerns and questions were answered by a recruit; and I was guided through the whole process to enter and prep for the Army. If it was not for the confidences and motivation of my recruiter back in 2005, I might have not made my leap and probably would not be in this uniform today. Becoming a member of the United States Army recruiting team means having a physical and mental toughness in order to perform efficiently.
