It would be an honor and a privilege to be in National Honor Society and I would take my duties and tasks very seriously. I feel that MCC’s National Honor Society is a superior group of students who will help motivate me by portraying high quality character and a good academically humble backdrop for the rest of my highschool career. I believe MCC’s National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is an organization with many functions, not only within school, but also within the community. I see the National Honor Society and its members as outstanding students with exceptional accomplishments and recognitions, who have stood out from others in academic achievement, community service, and leadership. It functions to provide a distinction from other high school students for the work of those in the organization. All of its members come together to enhance the quality of our community and school as a whole. If I am selected to join this organization, I will contribute my intellect and problem-solving abilities to help the organization progress in whatever it is that it pursues.
When viewed independently, novels Frankenstein and The Chosen impart many dissimilar themes; they especially diverge in the message of fulfilling the creator archetype. Creating figures of each novel are equally passionate about their ambitions, and both are committed and work diligently; whereas Reb Saunders son, his “creation”, shows the results of Reb Saunders exertions by fulfilling his father's hopes for him. When considering characters Victor Frankenstein from Frankenstein and Reb Saunders from the The Chosen, the contrast in purpose of both creators conveys that the conclusion of the creator's efforts is in part determined by their intentions. To uncover the intentions of characters Victor Frankenstein and Reb Saunders , it is
Since I heard about the National Junior Honor Society in sixth grade, I wanted to be a part of it because I have always wanted to make a difference in our community, and joining NJHS would help make that possible. I also want to become a part of NJHS because I want to make our school better, by helping students get more involved with after-school activities, like going to football games, and community service, even if it’s as small as donating a can or two to the food bank. I believe I can contribute both my optimistic attitude and my leadership skills to NJHS. My optimistic attitude allows me to never give up and hope for the best possible outcome of a situation, which helps me to finish projects with quality and effort before they are due,
The National Honor Society is a vehicle to access many scholarships and opportunities for a greater future. After I graduate high school, I stand determined to pursue my dream: to become a civil engineer and create hurricane-resistant infrastructure along the Gulf Coast. I plan to employ the four pillars of National Honor Society to better achieve my goals. In order to take the first step towards achieving my goals, I must first pursue scholarship, a commitment to learning. Knowledge illuminates the path to success. Without a commitment to my education, I will not graduate with the proficiency and competency necessary to enter the workforce.
I am grateful to have encountered the National Society of Leadership and Success in my life. It is a pleasure to be the President of the San Juan College NSLS chapter. It has been a great semester so far. I truly believe in the society’s mission statement considering it has helped student members at San Juan College. My favorite event that the society has as a requirement for induction are the SNTs.
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.
To become a member of the highly esteemed National Honors Society would mean that I have achieved my goal of being an archetype student for North Penn High School. To be blunt, I had stressed over applying for NHS for quite a while, but it was not until mid-way through the application process in which I realized my life is based around the qualities that the National Honor Society holds in high value. I have been yearning to be a part of this remarkable organization since I graduated my freshman year as an officer in NJHS. Since then, my time has been filled with countless volunteering and involvement in extracurricular activities. I am very passionate about what I become invested into, and I work at achieving my goals to the fullest.
Throughout my high school career, I’ve had multiple opportunities to achieve my personal goals and follow a legacy that my parents created when they themselves were in high school. Some parts of this legacy being my mom joining band, which was a driving factor for me to also try an instrument and my dad’s academic excellence that continues to motivate me to this day. Among their accomplishments was one important group that they both were a part of: The National Honors Society. They both really enjoyed the society and it had a positive influence on both of their lives. I would also like to be a part of NHS due to the role it played in my parents’ academic careers/lives, the fact that I could be in an environment where I could help other students, and to gain an edge on college applications.
I am devoted to service and have spent the past four years improving my school and community. The activities and awards listed below represent my various interests and abilities. Throughout high school, I have challenged myself by embracing greater responsibilities in multiple organizations in order to make a positive difference. I would like to highlight my work with the National Honor Society (NHS). Currently, I am president of my school’s chapter.
We Still Need the Airman Program The new method of training entry level airman has placed an undue burden on flight crew and maintainers by placing an increased demand on current qualified personnel for operational readiness. Integration of the airman program into ‘A’ school has made it less effective. The airman program provides exposure and on the job training to potential candidates prior to attending aviation classes ‘A’ school, reducing the likelihood of junior members choosing the wrong career path. The airman program is an essential tool in evaluating how successful an individual will be in an aviation rating.
