The National Honor Society is preeminent for recognizing students with imminent grades and honorable characters, I believe this organization makes a great impact in the community and helps in the overall betterment of the student as well. I would like to be assimilated in these community services to my school and to my community. I have heard how this club makes a person a better leader with a good character and discipline. I have been looking forward to this opportunity since the beginning of High School. To me, NHS’s four pillars are essential elements to being a member of this society.
The National Honor Society is an organization that enables high school students to help and improve their school and neighboring communities. It is an immense honor and privilege to be invited to be a member of this association, and it would be an even greater honor to actively participate and add to the existing society in ACST. Joining the National Honor Society would help me grow as a person and allow me to demonstrate the 4 pillars of NHS, in effect helping our school community and region in general. Leadership and service are both exhibited by all NHS members. This year, I have been starting to become both a silent and appointed leader in class.

National Honor Society is an organization that gives unrecognized students who are talented a chance to show their achievements. I see this program being very helpful to students, including myself, because it highlights our academic and personal accomplishments and provides many opportunities to those who deserve them. I believe the National Honor Society program represents outstanding high school students to colleges in hopes for them to forward their education and become successful. This would be useful to those who cannot afford to enroll in prestigious schools or organizations.

The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that is used to recognize high school students for their outstanding achievements, as well as guide them along the path to a successful future. As a new student to Quantico Middle/High School this year, I believe that I could be a great addition to the school’s National Honor Societies club. Being apart of this club would not only help built my college application in the future, but also teach me good social skills, teamwork capabilities, and leadership development. Both leadership and character contribute to a person’s qualification to join the National Honor Society. These qualities set the foundation for a good person in society and leads them down a successful road.
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. Overall, I have worked incredibly hard these last two years to display a positive character and obtain qualities such as leadership, responsibility, and scholarship. I strongly believe I will be a productive and reliable member of the National Honor Society at Harvard H. Ellis Technical High School.
It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”. Through my relentless hard work and perseverance, I believe that I possess the four characteristics of a National Honor Society member- leadership, service, character, and scholarship.
Being selected as a possible candidate for admission to the National Honor Society at Manchester High School is a tremendous honor, one that I do not take for granted. The National Honor Society is an established and prestigious organization that recognizes exemplary students across the nation. With a focus on educational excellence and service to the school and local community, I believe that this organization is a perfect match for me due to my many positive characteristics that will allow me to help enhance the community and school environment. One of my beliefs is that a group is only as strong as its weakest link, and while I don't believe that our community
National Honors Society bases its members on four pillars: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. School has always had a heavy influenced my growth as an individual and allowed me to grow academically as well. In comparison, serving my school and community has always been important. Since attending Milford Mill Academy, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to participate in various extracurricular activities offered such as Student Government, Future Business Leaders of America, the Newspaper Club etc. In my 9th grade year of High School, I returned to my middle school, Windsor Mill Middle School, to help the students prepare and and propose a service project at any local organization of their choice.
National Honor society was established to recognize outstanding high school students. National Honor society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of academic success, leadership, character and service. I should be in National Honor Society because I think I represent a lot of the qualities needed to be in this organization. Throughout my years in high school, I have been very involved in the band program here at Langham Creek. As a freshman, I started out in Concert 2 band.
What I see as the function of the National Honor Society is to encourage young adults like myself to participate more within their school and community. It allows students the ability to give and serve other people that have done so for them. This group will give many students an eye opening experience on volunteering for fellow citizens. If I were to be selected into the National Honor Society, I would contribute to the group by sharing ideas and giving useful feedback to the other students in the group. I would also provide personal experiences of certain voluntary services that I have completed, if needed.
The National Honor Society brings beneficial opportunities to every student, and by being in cabinet I believe I will make full use of this privilege and gain knowledge of leadership essential for my future career. By running for Treasurer, I believe I would be able to utilize my previous experience as Vice President for an environmental club at my old school and introduce a different perspective with new strategies to ensure the success of the NHS. Due to my old position, I am knowledgeable in financial management and have developed organizational skills necessary for the position of Treasurer. Additionally, volunteering is something I greatly value and enjoy, and through the NHS I hope to find different opportunities for success in this field.
