Unfortunately, his empire held together only for 10 years (Document E) after his death, which was a very short time. As we know, he was a very intelligent military leader.

Many people thought he was a good leader and a good king. However, the people he conquered think otherwise. The people who supported him say he was compassionate towards others.

He stood up for his idea of retaliation and was an independent leader with much knowledge. Most people remember just the bad things he did and don’t focus on the good things he did. Alexander the Great significantly expanded the Greek legacy by conquering territories. When he conquered a territory, he would not force the locals to assimilate into the Greek culture. This is to ensure they would not rebel against his leadership.
