Amelia Earhart Imagine yourself in a situation where you are supposed to stay in line. What if you were not allowed to do the things you love without objection? Well, Amelia Earhart is one who battled not being allowed to do the things she loved. Known for encouraging women to reject constrictive social nouns and to pursue various opportunties, escpecially in the field of aviation. For example, “This helped women feel like they could do things that men had limited them before. This encouragement allowed them to have a different vision on what they could or could not do. “ 1929 found an organization called Ninty- Nines, Earhart was the president.” ( Encyclopedia Britannica 1). This organization allowed females that had been told they could not do anything above male pilots to believe they could. This allowed them to have the guts to rebel against any sexist claims. In addition, “Functional clothing line in 1933 which was designed for the woman who lived actively” ( Encyclopedia Britannica 1). The clothing line allowed the women who are active to feel breezy while being active instead of being in a restrictive inactive dress. This flight would be one of her last and longest flights ever. This flight, if successful, would have been the longest flight Earhart would have been on. In addition,“ We are running North and South,” That was the last transmission received by the Itasca.” ( Encyclopedia Britannica 3). Later on this last transmission would worry the world of Earhart’s existence. This last transmission would make the world wonder later on what had happened to Earhart. These theories would soon put visions in people’s heads on what happened. For example, ''Some believed that she and Noonan had crashed on a differen’t island after failing to locate Howland.” ( Encyclopedia Britannica 1-4). These theories would shape how the world saw her disappearance. These were the last things people hypothesized on Earhart’s disappearance before going dark about it because there was nothing else to do on her disappearence.
