When growing up in a different country it is simple to think that the similarities and differences range on a wide spectrum, which is true, for the most part. Countries have their differences of course, but when people think of differences they think entirely on the general makeup of the country as a whole, not the detail. Detail meaning, all the small, significant building blocks that transform and partake in the development of the everlasting growth the country desires. It has become highly popular for teenagers to go to school and work during the week to develop independence and skill. It is very likely that the parents of teenager’s inforce the job experience upon them in order to show them responsibility and teach them personal growth along with time management before college. With this becoming such a distinctive trend in America it creates a large separation amongst the Australian Culture. In Australia children can start working at the young age of 10. This may seem too young in America, but in Australia this is the prefect age to start and maintain small jobs and responsibilities. Although children in Australia can start work at 10 years old, there are multiple rules and regulations that need to be followed in order to maintain any kind of job in Australia for children of all ages under 18 years old. These rules include starting and ending time periods (shifts) and what companies they can work for. For example, the young 10 year olds can only work for newspaper delivery companies and work only from 7am to 7pm at the latest. With these rules in place it sets boundaries for the Australian culture but yet still teaches children at a young age

Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and Vine are social media sources that are used both in Australia and America. Although these social media sources are used in both countries, the popular aspects are different in Australia compared to America. In America, the latest trend in social media apps is music. Rising stars start their careers off of social media, they entertain the crowd without leaving the comfort of their own home. This use of entertainment makes individuals in American more popular than ever expected. In Australia on the other hand these apps are used in more of a social way, instead of a personal gain type of atmosphere. In Australia hit entertainment shows are the ones that demonstrate a talent competition, in relation to the social atmosphere in America being over the internet, Australia takes their music entertainment to the next level. The youth plays an important part in entertainment due to the fact that this is the generation that the entertainers are trying to entertain, this is their goal, to entertain the youth. In each country large scale entertainment has the same goal, but these two countries, Australia and America just have different ways of going about
