Did you know one hour on Earth is 0.0026 seconds in space? Thus, upon calculation, we find that one hour on Earth equals seven years in space. Some benefits of going to space can be technological advancements, scientists will collect data from different stars of planets in different solar systems, and use that data to create better technology, an example is that Americans have gigabit internet services now, if Americans go to space, Americans can go up to 100 gigabytes a second. Americans need to go to space, we can make substantial technological advancements, and it's only a fraction of the government's budget.
One reason is that space travel is only a fraction of the government’s budget. According to “Leaving Main Street”, “At the cost sixth-tenths of a percent of the federal budget, it’s well worth the price.” Americans could spend extra money to train better astronauts. Americans could also spend extra money on better space crafts. Maybe have guns on the spaceships to fend off alien invaders. Going to space can make people happier because space is cool. If Americans take more people into space, the astronauts that take them into space will not get bored because there are people there to entertain the astronauts. Bringing people to space may encourage them to become an astronaut or a scientist who can help collect data to make more advancements on Earth. Going to space will help the economy open up many more jobs in organising data, doing calculations for space exploration, and becoming astronauts themselves.
