In the essay "Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior.", Amy Chua compares and contrast the differences between the parenting styles of Chinese and Western parents. In the beginning of the essay Chua briefly describes her rules and regulations of what her children were and were not allowed to do. Following up after reading her rules and regulations it was fair to say that she had a very strict parenting policy.
