Hi Yasna, It 's Samantha, the associate you interviewed Friday for sales lead. Sorry for the extremely late email, this is the first chance I 've gotten to write you. Today I went by Children 's Place at Eastridge, and spoke with Diana. You had asked me to see what I noticed that was different from Eastridge and Valley Fair, and the first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how much smaller the store is compared to Valley Fair. I also noticed how there is less traffic coming through at Eastridge then there is at Valley fair.
When I did the interview to Miss. Zuleth Lucero I learned that she wanted to go to law school but when she walked into her first law political science class she was discouraged because of her gender and race. Zuleth’s comment made me realize that many women in America are probably in the same situation as her. What I also learned found in this interview is that Miss. Lucero is well educated women whose dreams were shaped because she was discouraged when she realized that she was not going to be able to do well in Law school.
Emma is an enjoyable person to be around and through this interview I learned a lot about my teammate as a person and some characteristics about her as a
I chose to interview someone that I have looked up to and has been an inspiring role model for deciding to pursue a career in nursing. I have known Phyllis Czarnecki, for six years now, however, I was never familiar with the details of her career as a registered nurse. This interview gave me more respect for Mrs. Czarnecki by giving me a better understanding of the path she has taken to be where she is now. I have always known the general idea of a nurse's responsibilities, however, this interview allowed me to learn the personal opinions and a specific job of a registered nurse. Phyllis realized, as a teenager, she wanted to become a nurse when her mom was hospitalized and undergoing surgery.
Over the last few years, I have come to get to know my interviewee. She is a really good friend of mine, and her name is Maddie Anderton. I have learned a lot about her over the years and where she came from. She moved here from Alabama in 2005. I chose to interview her, because she is always talking about Alabama and how much she wishes she could go back.
In the first chapter of Brian Shultz’s Spectacular Things Happen along the Way, Shultz creates a curriculum where the students get to choose how and what they should learn. Shultz made the students figure out an issue in their community that they would like to improve, and the students decided that they want a new school facility. He lets the students decide how they should go about getting this new school facility and as a result he gives the students the opportunity to examine their cultural backgrounds and how they have experienced being born into that culture. Shultz helped create Project Citizen, an initiative to have students get a new school facility. Project citizen makes the students look at the individual problems with their school
Our short talk turned into an hour long discussion about which courses to take, if she needed to sign up for summer school, or if a fifth year was necessary. This conversation helped solidify our friendship. Now, I feel most comfortable sharing any problem with Stephanie during our strolls to Blenders. On the other hand, if I am meeting an acquaintance, Blenders is a great ice breaker and study break. While conducting interviews, I would invite our sorority pledges to Blenders.
to interview, was due to the common interest I have with her as a future Mental health counselor. The specialties she works with and the population of clients she serves is exactly where and what I want to do as a mental health counselor. In addition to her specialties, she is an independent counselor, and holds membership with Emotionally Focused Therapy/EFT (smith,2015n.d.). Ms. T currently has an office located at 3307 Duke
The person I interviewed is the campus Diversity Recruiter Candace Villanueva. She loves working in higher education. I enjoy helping students reach their academics and life goals. One of the advice she constantly was recommending me was to get my master degree because she though it would help me get more opportunities in the field of social work. A similar connection I thought about while hearing her speak was that as well as me she wanted to be in a field where she could help people, but she though nursing was not for her, so she decide to go into social work. At the end of the interview I thought that I did learn more about social workers who work in a nursing
Why did you choose that agency and the relevance for your future clients? Being an active duty military spouse, the military lifestyle has become a large part of my identity and I belong within the military community. Working for the Airman and Family Readiness Center as a Social Worker is very much a “calling” for me. When I was a new spouse without a support system, the stresses related to the military were much more than I ever imagined. Now that I am a seasoned spouse who will soon earn her MSW, I really want to be there for the new military members at the best of my abilities.
