Another heroic civilian was George Walters, a dockyard worker who used a rolling crane positioned alongside the battleship USS Pennsylvania. When the yard was fired at during the beginning of the raid, he valiantly moved his crane back and forth on its track, effectively blocking Pennsylvania from low flying dive-bombers and fighters. Gunners on the Pennsylvania considered the dockworker a nuisance at first, but they soon realized that his 50-foot-high cab gave him an excellent view of incoming zeros. Chris McCandless was in his early 20’s, he was the kind of that guy that wanted to learn and experience life without all of the material things. Eliza Stacey uses multiple persuasion techniques to convince her father-in-law to help them once more, including rhetorical questions or her remorseful diction.

In today’s society, we have former National Football League(NFL) quarterback Collin Kapernick who’s no longer in the NFL because of his protest against racial inequality. However, many people believe he is no longer in the NFL because of his talent. Kapernick led the 49ers to Super Bowl 47. Although they didn’t win, he threw for 302 yards with a touchdown and rushed for 62 yards. Therefore, he didn’t get kicked out of the league because he wasn’t good enough, but for sitting down during the national anthem.

Kevin’s Sentence is a 25 minute audio clip that allows people to relive the experience of an 18 year old Canadian named Kevin Hollinsky and his drunk driving experience that happened on the 30th of July, 1994. Best friends of Kevin; Joey Camlis aged 18 and Andrew Thompson aged 19 were the unfortunate people whose lives were lost that night due to being under the influence. The short audio clip covers eveything from the tragic event to Kevin travelling around Windsor and it’s various highschool giving out presentations about drink driving and its consequences.
