Analyzing Coach Advertisements Examples

Coach Advertisement I was born in a very influential society, where young women are so influenced by what's constantly surrounding us, in particular, advertisements. Most ads make us feel a certain way for example confident or strong. The one ad that I will be talking about does just that, it provokes us to buy an item. The ad that I decided to look at promotes the brand Coach which is a New York collection of luxury accessories. Looking at the ad I see two women one on the left in black and white and the other on the right in color. I also see the words across the whole picture saying “looking forward” which we can interpret many different ways. Another thing that I see is that the women on the left appears to be walking on a runway when the other women looks as though she is on top of a building ready for a night with her friends. The whole picture is trying to convey a message to a certain audience. First of all when I look at the ad more in depth I notice the colors that it's trying to emphasize. This can mean many different things. One of the things that I can assume it’s saying is their items are looking forward from the past to the present. From the pictures they are presenting, it is clearly from the past to the present because of the details I mentioned before. Also going in a different direction the words could mean looking forward from the runway to people wearing the item in everyday life. I see many times when watching a fashion show that most items the models are walking the runway in, I would not particularly wear in my daily life. But from the ad it is showing that on the runway and in your daily life you could most certainly wear this. This being said it is even more appealing to women. Which is a very interesting but also an underlying trick that they
