When looking at this week’s discussion, it reminded me of a course that I had completed a few MODs back where I was conducting a list of assessments on a kindergarten student at my school. The parent wanted to know the results and compare them to children her son’s age even though I had already explained in full detail that these are only assessments for my course work so that I could get used to assessing students and that they are not used to compare him to other children. I did agree to share the results with her if she wished, nevertheless, after providing my explanation to her again, she did not want to see the results.
