Working Title of Project: “kill that animal, its looks ugly: animal rights, suffering, and economy”

Research Question: How can you take advantage of the animals without making them suffer?

Working Thesis: Animal suffered for several years from the detriment of animal abuse, and that costs many things like the environment, the animals, and the public health. As the human have the right to live in peace, also the animal has the right to live without suffering, and also by having alternatives.

Those sources are such as the article Defending Animal Rights, (1998) by the Parliamentary Affairs. It talks about the history on animal rights and animal welfare, also some impact of protest, and they are accessible through the AUK-subscribed EBSCO.
