Every morning I get up and wash my face with a face cleanser. Then I moisturize and begin to put on my makeup. My first thought is not, where this makeup came from, or how safe is it, and did anything suffer for it. Behind many makeup brands is the horror of how many animals suffer. Every year in the United States millions of animals are used as test subjects by science researchers. This includes everything from makeup, nail polish, foods, and any other chemical substances that humans use for everyday consumption.
All types of animals are used, mice, rats, cats, dogs, rabbits, monkeys, and many more. These animals do not have a voice.
