Anne Frank is a Jewish girl who had gone into hiding during World War II. Before Anne and her family went into hiding for 2 years, she received a diary 2 days prior to this happening. This is her story and what the Jewish people like Anne Frank had to live through during that time. Anne and her family lived with another Jewish family in hiding in Prinsengracht Amsterdam. Anne Frank was born on 12 June 1929 in the german city of Frankfurt. She lived with the van Daan's along with her mother, father, and sister. If you were in one of those camps you would need to work for your food and water. If you were not able to work, then you would not receive water or food and most people could not do it because it was too difficult to use that much energy for just a little bit of water or food. Anne may not be in the best situation being cramped in an attic, but she had her family and friends. Which is why she was able to get through as much as she did. Her family made it seem like they did not need to worry about how hungry, they were just that they had each other’s back and that is why they were able to make it for 2 years. If you think about it though truly the reason they could even survive was because of Mr. Kraler and Miep they were so nice to them. Since no one was able to go out they had to have someone get them ration books and they were the ones who did it for them. That is truly when you know not everyone was on Hitler's side. They believed that it was not right to only have one race who cares if you're different they are people too. Without these two people, Anne and her family wouldn’t have died the way they did. More than likely it would have been from starvation or going to a concentration camp. Anne’s story is so inspirational she wrote every day about her feeling and what she had experienced that day so if we did not have her we would not have as clear of a picture as we do now because of her diary that she wrote in every
