Every family has its way of spending holidays together. Some cultures, families gather in a big groups but others like to make it simple. The American culture has one big holiday, which is the thanksgiving. The thanksgiving celebration is on the fourth Thursday in November. In this interview summery, I will share some of my interviewee’s culture in thanksgiving. Annie Rumpf, shared with us some of her own thanksgiving’s memories, and told us about her family’s traditions. in the interview, we diseased a lot of Rumpf’s traditions in thanksgiving such as, thanksgiving food, table manners, and thanksgiving back in the childhood days and now. Those point gave me some perspective about Americans’ thanksgiving.

Annie: my family, from both sides, they usually bring the same things, so one person specialized in the green beans casserole, and my mom always makes the pumpkin pie. Culture and society affect the image people have about the holidays in the family. Indeed, some families like to stick with their traditions in holidays, such as Annie’s family.
