All the other schools of college football get left out as well no matter how good they are. For example, UCF should have been a playoff team if they had a playoff last year, but would not have been included. Instead they should have the 5 major conference champions get in plus the highest ranked team outside of
ZURGABLE'S “So, do you know the man that owns Zurgable's hardware store at the top of the hill south of town? Of course you do.” A librarian at the Emmitsburg branch library laughs. “I love his patois.”
raHe searched everywhere for those shoes, those perfect tan ones with that fabric flower that fit him just right. The closet, underneath his bed, in the pile of clean clothes he meant to fold a week ago. They were nowhere to be found, completely gone from the face of the Earth, leaving Cal Hampton barefooted and discouraged. It was only eight in the morning and his room was more of a mess than it usually was, plus, worst of all, he didn 't have a single pair of shoes that matched the floral skirt settled upon his waist. He bought it just for that damn pair, those adorable, dainty tan shoes, and now, the thing was useless.
Glen Kramon of the Los Angeles Times wrote an article titled “Football at Stanford? maybe not”(Kramon). The main point he is trying to convey through this article is that Stanford's football program is not efficient and there is really no need for it. The tone he uses to express these thoughts is informative, because he uses strong words and information throughout the article to communicate the main point of the stanford football program collapsing. Kramon’s reason for writing this article is because Stanford was a very dominant team 5 years ago,but it is now in freefall.
It was a 40 degree night , chilly for Dallas , where the Super Bowl party was being hosted on the 50 yard line of AT@T stadium’s Football field. The Cowboys had just finished beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl an hour ago and they came home to celebrate and I was the sweepstakes winner so I got to host any 4 NFL players at the party. Just as I put the table on the field, Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott walked out onto the field wearing Super Bowl rings.
A 16 team playoff is guaranteed to bring more money and an immense profit, which satisfies the needs of those businessmen. Between TV contracts, merchandising and investments in athletic programs, colleges in the United States generate hundreds of millions of dollars every year. A playoff with 16 teams only produces more opportunities for investments. A 16-team playoff creates ample advertising opportunities on a plethora of high-profile games that simply don’t exist in today’s college football. FOX, ABC, CBS and NBC’s mouths would be watering at the thought of broadcasting these games.
There are 128 FBS college football teams and each year just 1 is able to walk away a National Champion. This has always been the case in college football, however the way this National Champion is crowned has changed a few times. Whether it be the AP Poll deciding the number 1 team in their rankings, the numbers 1 and 2 teams playing each other in a championship game, or a 4 team playoff, 1 team always walks away a champion. Over the years there has been a lot of debate over which teams deserve a chance to play for a National Championship game. No matter the system people are arguing over who should be ranked first, second, or fourth.
This shows that super conferences are very expensive and have lots of depth in their conferences. “ For this hypothetical, let’s just say that the Big Ten and SEC each have 20 teams total, with four divisions of five teams apiece. Each
"You're hopeless man. Can't you see she wants nothing to do with you? Give it up and find someone else." "There IS no one else for me. I'll either have Dani or no one at all."
The current system is biased to “Power 5” teams. With the current playoff system only including four teams so many great teams aren’t given a chance to participate in the playoffs. There are some amazing teams in college football but since the current playoff system is so exclusive to non power 5 teams don’t even have a shot to compete Laisle 3 for a national championship. Expanding the playoff system to 12 or 16 teams would fix this problem immediately.
The sport I chose to observe was college football. I decided to chose this sport because football is a sport my family enjoys to watch. Also I enjoy watching football more than any other sport because there is so much that could happen, in football many unexpecting plays could happen, and each game is different than the last one. The game I chose to watch was a college football game between the University of Notre Dame and the University of Miami that took place at the University of Miami on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The game started with Miami kicking the ball to Notre Dame.

Do you believe in destiny? I do. I believe everyone is born for a reason. To become an adventurer, to be the hero, who slays the dragon and saves the princes in the castle, to be crowned King of the World. Those are all dreams of people I’ve come across.
