Moise enthusiastically strolled down the smooth cement sidewalk. He safely guarded his books under his tightening grip. He gave out a sigh of relief when he frantically checked his watch for the time. It was his last day of class before he would graduate and earn his second master's degree. He always gave off an amiable, warmhearted look, but his face was much more than that. Everyone knew him as a serious and persistent person, especially when it came to his pursuing his dreams. Of course many would say that going this far in life requires hard work, but it was more than hard work for Moise. He still could not believe what he had done six months ago that could have ended his academic career. When he arrived in France from Douala, Cameroon, Moise was already set to pursuit his career as a lawyer. He still remembers the day he was accepted to Paris-Sorbonne University. All the money he saved up to pay for tuition was still in Cameroon with his parents. The money he had was used to keep up with his bills and part of the school tuition for at least half a semester. He definitely did not want to call his parents because he did not want them to be deeply disappointed. Gaining this scholarship would have helped not only him, but his family from paying for school. Two months before, he went all around France frantically searching for a job.
