Legalization of marijuana is argumentative since any legal substance must prove to be useful within the society and cause no harm on individuals who tamper or use it. Medical users of marijuana are perfectly safe. The only problem arises when there are cases of mold or excess pesticides on the marijuana, which poses relative problems or medical issues to the said users. THC level is yet another problematic issue to medical patients with marijuana prescriptions. In fact, the legalization of marijuana opens doors for more users to come on board and use it. Marijuana as a drug has its adverse effects known to many thus the illegalization of the drug. Indications of the effects of marijuana might project a poor economy years after it has been legalized. Legalizing marijuana attracts more users. Such users are most likely from the age group 20-60 years. Judging by the laws of the land, this is a viable working group of people. Therefore, if half of these people are engaged in marijuana, almost half of those consumers might get addicted. Some of these effects discourage high IQ levels and work performance, and encourage Laziness and high dependency ratios.
