The topic of gun control and firearm regulation has been subject to heated debate for a long while. Both sides have potent arguments, however the core of this issue ultimately boils down to the constitution itself. More specifically the second amendment. This argument quickly becomes quite complicated because gun control and firearm regulation concerns not only the right of citizens, but more importantly the safety of citizens. The second amendment helps to guarantee an imperative right belonging to all citizens.
Not just “Criminals” Gun control has become a serious problem that The United States of America is facing today. Many people do not know how to control a gun and are not conscious of the lamentable effect that a gun can develop. “Many people have been saying for years that guns are inherently bad objects for a plethora of reasons”(Alex. C). The gun control issue is a controversial topic and many individuals have a different perspective about gun control.
Gun control is in the forefront of the national new stemming from the mass shootings at schools and public places across the United States. Concerns have been raised both by the public and our nation’s government about gun violence and creating more strict legislation. One of the measures looked at is the use of smart technologies to make guns safer. This call for smart technologies to be incorporated into firearms has a lack of consensus on both sides of the gun control issue making smart technologies a slowly researched and developed area. For this reason, smart gun technologies should not be incorporated into gun control legislation.
On average 96 Americans are killed with guns every day and more than 100,000 people in America are shot in murders. We must need Gun Control. The one who is a con for Gun Control says “If gun control laws were made much more strict, these criminals would still be able to obtain illegal weapons. The only difference would be that the people who are not criminals would not have the ability to defend themselves” but if we eliminate the gun control, the murder case will increase greatly.
A weapon in the wrongs hands is the maximum danger humanity can face. Nowadays, violence and delinquency in society are viewed as the maximum problem solver. Humanity is full of chaos; hate and envy seize our souls. Guns are the ultimate security for some citizens but for others, these add to a feeling of defenselessness. Throughout history, any topic related to guns means a plethora of problems.
There just might be an opportunity to solve the problem of mass murders caused by disturbed individuals with guns. If we can get the politicians to stop talking long enough to listen. They may realize they are both wrong on the issue of gun control. Note how carefully I chose my words there. Guns do not kill people.

Gun control is what restricts people from buying and using guns, but these laws are not strengthened at the extent they need to be strengthened. The fact that gun control is still not tightened is a huge margin and error, and still causes mass shootings as we just covered. Many people have said that we should not allow guns to be purchased, which would seem like the logical option. However, according to the same source, Council on Foreign Relationship, some states, such as Idaho, Alaska, and Kansas, have passed various laws attempting to nullify
Gun control has been a hot topic for quite some time now. It seems like every week we hear about another shooting or proposal on the subject. Actually, these things probably happen more frequently than that, and we just don’t hear about them or don’t bother to watch the news (which is a problem in itself). But you see, even more frequently than the shootings or proposed regulations on guns, we hear debate about them. There’s people on one side that are 2nd amendment supporters through and through, and people on the other side that completely oppose guns.
Gun control also limits our constitutionally derived right to own firearms. If gun control is enforced, law-abiding citizens will be forced to give up their guns and their right to own guns, while many criminals who own guns may illegally keep theirs. As the saying goes “If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.” Guns are an important aspect of our society in many ways. They allow for protection, recreation, and hunting.
Gun control has been a heated debate for several decades, recently, the discussion surrounding this matter has intensified. The argument seems to be divided into liberal and conservative views, thoughts, and values. A majority of liberals desire stricter gun laws, required mental health check-ups, and longer waiting periods when it comes to purchasing a gun. However, the general census among the Republicans is less governmental interference because they feel that there is already too much governmental control involved. The Republican Party often does not want stricter gun laws because the problem at hand is not the gun itself, but the individual wielding the gun.

Citizens of the United States are promised the the right to bear arms in the Constitution, and by applying gun control laws takes away that same right. Crime is high enough in cities with very few laws pertaining to gun control, but taking guns away from people who are registered with license will not solve the problem either. Placing more limitations on gun owners, particularly responsible gun owners, will not reduce gun violence.

Gun Control Gun control has become a polarizing and controversial issue around the globe. There have been many reported issues of mass shootings both in schools and in the public, making it a hot button issue. Proponents argue that, if the government strictly controls the ownership of guns, such tragedies can be prevented. Most Americans have an obsession with guns because the law allows them to do so. Therefore, they are always ready to scoff at anyone trying to control gun ownership.
While those in favor of gun control work hard to push their agenda, it is clear that America has far more citizens who favor gun rights over gun control. In order to get what they want, control supporters are going to need to get a big jump on gun supporters for house seats. Some of the control supporters have even begun to turn their head and give up on their arguments. The ones who were once completely against guns, have now begun to say that “there is a time and place for everything” (Elliot and Frizell, The New Politics of Gun Control). The motto in New Hampshire is “Live Free or Die”.
