Marijuana Should be Legal
Bob Marley once said “Herb is the healing of a nation, alcohol is the destruction.”There are over 100 peer-reviewed studies that confirm marijuana kills cancer cells. Marijuana is legal in Colorado and has helped more than 10,000 people with jobs in the marijuana industry.Although marijuana can be a gateway drug for people, states should make marijuana legal medically and recreationally because it helps people improve their mental health, it is much safer than alcohol,tobacco, and other medical drugs, and can help reduce pain and physical illnesses.

The level of opioid overdoses is so high right now”This shows that marijuana is a lot safer than using pills or opioids,and risking to overdose while there has been no victims that overdosedon marijuana.This is important because marijuana can be a legal drug that can lower deaths from overdoses.According to Jennifer Landis a recent study suggests that marijuana could be an effective way to reduce migraine headaches. It had 121 people who were had migraines and they were given medical marijuana as a treatment to try and reduce the migraines. 103 of the participants had fewer migraines.This shows that marijuana actually helps with pain and if it was made legal it would change today's society massively.This is important because if a plant that is easy to grow can help with severe pain will solve a lot of problems for citizen's and the government.Marijuana can be addicting to some users but it can be used to treat and reduce
