Gun control is and always will be a very disagreed issue in this country. There are those who believe that Americans should not own guns at all. They think our country would be better without them. Guns do not do the killing or injuring of the innocent bystanders.
If we think it's smart to ban guns, let's ban cars then because they kill people too. It's not the gun so try to keep guns out of the hand of people that can cause harm to others. So what really needs to happen is stricter laws to be forced such as banning firearms, but is there another way to make this country safer with weapons.

To be completely honest bad people do this crimes because they are mad at something or mentally unstable and can not control themselves. Just banning guns won't stop someone from illegally getting there hand on a gun or knife and doing mass murder, it will make them use things like knife and make them suffer.(3,2) To prove it here are some facts (all facts came from source 1):

The past 20 years, gun sales have exploded, but murders with firearms are down 39 percent and “other crimes with firearms” are down 69 percent. Despite the very strict ban on guns in the UK, the rate of violent crime in the UK is about 4 times higher than it is in the United States. In one recent year, there were 2,034 violent crimes per 100,000 people in the UK. In the United States, there were only 466 violent crimes per 100,000 people during that same year. Do we really want to be more like the UK? in Australia after they put strict gun laws infect, gun murders increased by about 19 percent and armed robberies increased by about 69
