Why is America protesting gun violence without solutions? There have been pushes for reduced gun control, but it causes more pro-gun control sided individuals to argue their standpoint. Both sides use recent school shootings’ conditions as evidence to their argument. However, the proper research has never been funded by a private agency or by the government. As a result, the arguments for increasing or decreasing gun control have never had proper evidence to back them. The solution to solving gun control is funding more gun violence research. This will help because it will create evidence, remove confusion, and prompt state action.
